I have not heard of a special that is cinemax and starz together free, but a 2 for 1 special, as in subscribing to Starz you would get Cinemax free for the first 3 months.
#DIRECTV NOW FREE 30 DAY TRIAL TRIAL#
For any 3 month free trial dealing with the Premiums (HBO, Starz, Showtime, Cinemax) they work as a flat credit for 3 months, but billed from day added so you usually see a partial charge at the beginning, but an additional credit from when removed at the end of 3 months (because Directv bills ahead). after all, aren't all his calls on tape?Ĭannot speak specifically for the integrity of the agent you were speaking with. I felt I should have been allowed to speak to a supervisor to report him. too bad the only way to report an employee is via this forum crap.
Had I been just another person on autopay, he would not have been caught. People like him (and att) are exactly the reason I do not let companies set up autopay on my accounts. Not to mention how many other customers he has pulled this fraudulent act upon. So one bad, criminal employee now will keep me from trying other channels. Then just last week a young lady called to offer me a free preview of a channel of my choice and I said no way, last time the guy lied that it was free to pick up a sale. Then spent approx 35 min the next day trying to find out what had and had not been done on my account! You would have thought the $17 or however much was coming off his paycheck! so I wasted about 40 minutes on the phone that day before I had to leave for an appt. Then to add insult to injury, the first att person I asked to credit me cuz I was lied to, offered me a prorated, PRORATED credit.
So imagine my suprise when my bill for internet and tv went from $84 to $124. The male rep told me there would be a $10 fee to cancel if I cancelled in the first month.
I agreed and wrote when to cancel on my calendar. Near the end of Sept 2016, I received an unsolicited call and was asked if I wanted to sign up for a free 3 months of cinemax and starz.
